Mr. N. Ravi Shanker

Chancellor, DIT University

N. Ravi Shanker combines rich administrative experience with a flair for academics.

Key assignments that he held include District Magistrate of Muzaffarnagar; MD of UP Electronics Corpn, Housing Commissioner; and Secretary (Home Dept). From 2000-07, he was Secretary to Governor of Uttarakhand and Secretary (Education) from 2000-02. From 2007-14, he served in the Govt of India at various levels - Joint Secretary, Additional Secretary and as Secretary.

In 2014, he was appointed as Secretary (Administrative Reforms), Govt of India. After a brief stint in that position, he was appointed as Chief Secretary of Govt of Uttarakhand. He retired from this position in July 2015.

Prof. G. Raghurama

Vice Chancellor, DIT University

Prof. Raghurama completed his five-year tenure as the Director of BITS Pilani, K K Birla Goa Campus on 30th Oct 2021. Prof. Raghurama is an accomplished teacher, teaching and guiding students in the areas of Electronic Sciences, Instrumentation, Computer Organization, Communication Engineering, Telecommunication Networks and Management.

Prof. Raghurama joined BITS Pilani at Pilani in Rajasthan as an assistant lecturer in 1987 and became a Senior Professor in the EEE department in 2012. He had completed his MSc in Physics with first rank and distinction from IIT Madras and obtained his PhD from IISc Bangalore. In 2007, he was appointed as Deputy Director (Academic) in-charge of academic affairs at BITS Pilani, including faculty recruitment. Prof. Raghurama has rich experience in academic administration holding positions such as Dean of Faculty Division, Dean of Admissions and Placement for over 14 years before he took charge as Deputy Director.

During his tenure as Dean of Admissions at BITS, he was a key person in the design and implementation of the fully computer based Online test BITSAT for admission to BITS, which has become a benchmark in Online testing in India. Later in 2009, he pioneered the first draft of ‘Vision 2020’ for BITS Pilani which subsequently became the ‘Vision 2020: Mission 2012’ project for BITS Pilani. In 2010, Prof Raghurama was appointed as the Director of BITS Pilani, Pilani campus, during which time he made significant contributions to the growth of the Institute. During his tenure as Director, he also led the Phase I of ‘Project Parivartan’ at Pilani campus and was responsible for expansion and modernization of physical infrastructure at Pilani campus. In 2015, he shifted to BITS Pilani, Goa campus and was appointed as Director of the campus in 2016. In 2017, he spearheaded the “Project Lakshya”, a strategic planning exercise for BITS Pilani. He successfully represented BITS Pilani as its nodal official at the MHRD, IoE Secretariat and UGC right from the application stage for the status of ‘Institute of Eminence’ which was finally granted in 2018. Prof. Raghurama also guided completion of construction of 6 hostel buildings and the New Academic Block as part of the Phase II Infrastructure Development of Goa Campus.

Dr Anil Subbarao Paila

Vice Chancellor, IMS Unison University

Dr. Anil Subbarao Paila, is a distinguished academician with a strong commitment to advancing education. His expertise in higher education administration and passion for student development make him a vital force in shaping the university's academic excellence and fostering innovation in learning. Dr. Paila has worked over 1 year as Pro Vice Chancellor at Vijay Bhoomi University and 15 years as Senior Dean and Director, Prin L N Welingkar Institute of Management Development (WeSchool), Bangalore. He was a topper in Shivaji University, Kolhapur in his BCom, M.Com & MCM degrees. Dr. Paila is also Chartered Accountant by profession and was awarded “The Chitragupta Award” for his outstanding performance in Management Accounting by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, New Delhi. His Doctoral study on Design and Development of Management Information System in Selected Industries earned him a Ph.D. Degree in Management Information Systems (MIS). Dr. Paila has over 13 years of corporate experience (worked at Anagram Finance as Regional Head & was Vice President at Mahindra & Mahindra). Dr. Paila received the BMA Best Director Award for the year 2022 from Bangalore Management Association (BMA) in March 2022. Dr. Paila received Bangalore Education Society’s Leadership in Management Education and Advocacy Award in 2018. In recognition of his service, he was unanimously elected as National President of Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) for (2017-18). He also was Executive Board Member of Association of Management Development Institutions in South Asia (AMDISA) - (2017-18). He is actively involved with NHRD, CII, FKCCI, AIMS & Rotary. Dr. Paila attended the Harvard Graduate School of Education’s Institute for Management and Leadership in Education (MLE 2018). Recently, he also attended the London Leadership Summit. He drives himself towards networking and continuous learning and believes that ‘ Network is Net-worth’ and ‘always be hungry to learn new things’.

Dr. Mona Khanna

Principal - Unison World School

Dr Mona Khanna is a proficient academician and researcher with more than 20 years of rich experience in education. Prior to joining us, Dr. Khanna headed Vandya International School, Guwahati. Before that, she had completed her tenure as the Vice Principal of Unison World School. Before joining UWS, she had served at The Doon School, Dehradun as a teacher for 12 years and was the first female Head of the Math Department at The Doon School.

She was awarded the prestigious Fulbright Fellowship for the Teaching Excellence and Achievement Program by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) of the U.S. Department of State in 2011. She earned an International Postgraduate Certificate in Education from University College London in 2016 and is an alumna of Miranda House, the University of Delhi, where she pursued a B.Sc and M.Sc in Mathematics. She earned her doctorate in space dynamics and was a member of the CFRSC (Centre for Fundamental Research in Space Dynamics and Celestial Mechanics).
